
The RunClub Elite had zero digital infrastructure. They were building their community through guerrilla marketing on Instagram and TikTok—and it was working incredibly well. Their social presence was exploding, videos were going viral, and at one point over 125 people showed up to a Wednesday night run. But despite this massive momentum, they had no way to capture it. No system to track their growing user base, no way to collect contact information, no method to communicate with members, and no tools to keep runners coming back. They were winning the attention game but losing the retention game.


We built a complete digital infrastructure from the ground up. The platform uses Nuxt 3 with TypeScript for a lightning-fast static frontend deployed to AWS S3 and CloudFront, with serverless AWS Lambda functions powering the backend and Supabase PostgreSQL for the database. The core feature is a points-based check-in system that incentivizes runners to show up consistently, with leaderboard functionality coming soon to gamify the experience further. Beyond the app, we set up their entire back office: professional email addresses through Zoho, transactional emails via Resend integration, and a full event management system so organizers can create, manage, and track events. Google OAuth authentication is pending review. This wasn't just an app—it was a complete digital transformation.
The impact was immediate. On launch night, approximately 60% of their active runner base signed up for the platform—their registered user count exploded overnight. Within days of going live, The RunClub Elite went from having no digital presence to having a growing, trackable community. They now have the infrastructure to capture the momentum they've been building, communicate directly with their members, and track engagement over time. The platform continues to grow alongside their movement, finally giving them the tools to turn viral moments into lasting community connections.
